Necesitatea proiectului este argumentată de următorii factori:The aim of this project is to promote educational inclusion of preschool age children with special educational needs by developing models of inclusive kindergartens in the Northern and Southern parts of the republic, developing the abilities of model kindergarten’s staff when working with disabled children, developing mechanisms that would improve the access to education of children with special educational needs from the Republic of Moldova. finance investments in the basic architecture of the social safety net,
with a focus on strengthening the Ajutor Social Program, following standard
World Bank procedures for investment lending. The two components are
inherently linked through definition of the results framework.

Proiectul propus are drept obiectiv principal diminuarea efectelor negative ale secetei din anul 2012, prin acordarea suportului fermierilor pentru restabilirea producţiei de porumb şi grîu, precum şi prevenirea reducerii efectivului de animale în cele mai afectate regiuni. Astfel, vor fi susţinute eforturile Guvernului în abordarea situaţiei de urgenţă, prin reducerea riscurilor extinderii şi facilitarea procesului de recuperare urmare a secetei. Pentru a atinge aceste obiective, activităţile proiectului se vor orienta la oferirea asistenţei tehnice şi financiare fermierilor din cele mai afectate regiuni ale ţării, investiţiile fiind astfel direcţionate înspre însămînţarea porumbului şi a grîului. Porumbul constituie un element important în hrana animalelor, iar lipsa acestuia ar putea conduce la diminuarea efectivului de animale. Proiectul „Suport de urgenţă pentru agricultura Moldovei” completează următoarele două proiecte ale Băncii Mondiale, care sunt în prezent în curs de implementare: (i) Proiectul de management al dezastrelor şi riscurilor climatice şi (ii) Proiectul Agricultura Competitivă. objectives:• Obtaining exhaustive data on the structural features of
agriculture as a result of transformations that occurred in the
post-privatisation period; providing complex and comparable data on
agricultural activity at national, regional, territorial administrative
units of 3rd level; • Determine the types of agricultural holdings, use of
agricultural land, types of activities performed within agricultural units,
potential production of these depending on agricultural area used, number
of parcels, irrigation, fertilisation, livestock, agricultural
constructions, agricultural machinery and equipment, labour force, etc.;
Consolidation of agricultural statistical system, establishing of a solid
database between the census periods that would make possible for a sample
survey system in agriculture, starting from an up-dated database.
