1: To improve the links between the both banks’ academic and research community, enhancing the capacity of the Transnistria academic and research community, policy makers and local authorities to collect, analyse, disseminate and use data required for an efficient formulation, implementation and monitoring of policies for minimization of the negative social costs of migration and enhancing the development potential of migration.
2: To improve the Government’s and local authorities’ capacity in diaspora programming and enhancing the capacity of migrant associations and initiative groups (including the ones comprised of persons originating from Transnistria) in the destination countries to become active in support of local development of the homeland - including Transnistria.
3: To enhance the protection of the rights and the social security of the Moldovan migrants working abroad, including the ones originating from Transnistria, developing and implementing innovative return and reintegration programmes, as well as promotion of economic empowerment of returning migrant workers and rural youth and women - including the Transnistria residents.
4: To identify, develop and implement specific activities targeting family members left behind by migrants – including Transnistria residents, as well as other vulnerable groups of population affected by migration, taking into account their vulnerability, in order to minimize the negative effects of migration.

Specifically, ABA ROLI will take part in working groups convened by the Ministry of Justice to review and amend the CC and CPC, delivering advisory opinions and commentaries to the MOJ, assist in reviewing any potential anti-corruption legislation, and review current penal policy. Additionally, ABA ROLI will continue to work with the SCJ and the PGO to unify sentencing guidelines and judicial practice.
ABA ROLI will strengthen equality of arms through training sessions for lawyers to improve
professional standards and improve their capacity to appropriately protect the rights of
defendants. We will offer skills trainings to defense attorneys and legal interns; anti-corruption strategy trainings for judges, prosecutors, defense attorneys; and continued support to young legal professionals with training, professional development, and public lecture opportunities. Finally, ABA ROLI will support cross-sectoral capacity building to ensure sustainable justice sector reform, focusing on improving justice-sector transparency with the public and the media, cross-sector trainings to combat corruption, and cross-sector young professionals’ development.

Project’s goal is to reduce the quantity of WEEE generated that will further lead to the improvement of citizens’ living conditions from Ungheni city and its neighbourhood localities, as well as of the region by activities that will be carried out by the applicant, target-groups and beneficiaries.
The population will feel the real benefits of the process immediately in terms of localities sanitation and solving the problem of WEEE storing. After a while, the advantages will be assessed compared to the reducing level of environment pollution. The collection and storing of waste in adequate conditions will decrease the risks of diseases and pollution arising due to the decomposition of toxic substances into soil and surface waters.
For the Local Public Authorities, the project will improve the process of communication with citizens, bring advantages to all parties involved. In this sense, the information campaign will be not just an operational one as regards the collection of WEEE, but will also contribute to the strengthening of the so-called division according to the intervention. After a period of time, this process will work on cyclic principles, in which the good functioning of the service will stimulate citizens to contribute to its economic development.
The project will enhance the civic partnership and will determine elaboration of common initiatives in order to improve and adapt innovation methods of WEEE management by creating an optimized collection and storing system, population awareness, testing of new methodologies. Civil society representatives (Local Initiative Groups, schools, colleges), private sector will be involved in the project by means of activities destined to aware the importance of WEEE adequate management.
Establishing appropriate conditions for WEEE collection, transportation, as well as creation of the storing point will contribute to territory’s attractiveness for potential investors.

It covers population policies and dynamics and addresses gender-based violence. Cross-cutting issues include human rights and gender equality, the concerns of young people, inclusive partnerships, national ownership and humanitarian assistance.The nationwide geographical coverage of the proposed project allows it to target regional disparities and reach vulnerable populations, including those in rural areas and in the post-conflict region of Transnistria. The project addresses the reproductive health needs of young people and adolescents, the aged, the Roma population and people with disabilities. Proiectul propus are la bază priorităţile Guvernului, aşa cum au fost formulate în cadrul variantei de proiect pentru „Moldova 2020” şi Cadrul de Parteneriat al Naţiunilor Unite, 2013-2017. Acest proiect încorporează recomandările evaluării de program şi se bazează pe Obiectivele de Dezvoltare ale Mileniului, Programul de Acţiune al Conferinţei Internaţionale pentru Populaţie şi Dezvoltare şi planul strategic UNFPA, 2008-2013. Proiectul propus se concentrează asupra sănătăţii şi drepturilor reproductive, cu accent asupra grupurilor defavorizate. De asemenea, acoperă politicile şi dinamica populaţiei şi abordează violenţa bazată pe gen. Aspectele transversale includ drepturile omului şi egalitatea de gen, preocupările tinerilor, parteneriatele incluzive, proprietatea naţională şi asistenţa umanitară. Acoperirea geografică la nivel naţional a proiectului propus permite acestuia să ia în vizor disparităţile regionale şi să îşi lărgească raza de acţiune către populaţiile vulnerabile, inclusiv cele din zonele rurale şi din regiunea post-conflict transnistreană. Proiectul face apel la necesităţile în materie de sănătate reproductivă ale tinerilor şi adolescenţilor, celor în vârstă, populaţiei de romi şi persoanelor cu dizabilităţi. În plus, încurajează colaborarea cu funcţionarii publici, mediul academic şi societatea civilă, în vederea dezvoltării capacităţilor lor individuale şi instituţionale. Proiectul propus urmăreşte să sprijine eforturile Guvernului de a construi mecanisme normative şi instituţionale pentru promovarea bunei guvernări şi a echităţii. În acest scop, Proiectul va dezvolta capacitatea naţională de asigurare a accesului egal la servicii de bază sociale, de sănătate şi de sănătate reproductivă.
