The rehabilitation of the existing sewer system in the center of Cantemir and the extension of the sewer network to cover the area to the east of the center of Cantemir and a settlement in the west of the center which have been connected to the new water supply system.
The construction of a wastewater treatment plant for the town of Cantemir south of the city center. The design of the WWTP will allow a future extension for the treatment of wastewater from neighboring villages.
Optimization of the existing water supply system in Cantemir, especially the raw water pumping station. With the development and implementation of proper measures the water supply system shall become more efficient and the sustainability shall be increased.
In order to ensure proper operation and maintenance as well as financial sustainability after the enlargement of the scope of services to wastewater treatment, capacity development and technical training in operation and maintenance for APA Canal Cantemir shall be carried out.

Strengthening of the capacities of Non State
actors and relevant authorities in MD, BY and UA to be able to implement
the recommendations of the UN Commission on the rights of the child in each
country. The proposed project will take place in Moldova, Belarus and
Ukraine and is aiming at strengthening the capacities and enlarge the
knowledge of the partners in the care of children being placed in
institutions and in vulnerable families. Central element of the project
will be the empowerment of the partner in education, development,
protection and participation of children. The focus has to be placed on
strengthening the family, and overcoming the vulnerability of families
which has been increasing during the transition years. This will be
achieved by means of exchange of experience with other partners, training,
knowledge management, competence development and adoption of innovative
pedagogical methods. Thus, the members of the partner organization will be
enabled to adapt their child projects according to the requirements of the
Convention on the Rights of the Child, improve the impact of their work in
child projects and become equal partners for state authorities in the field
of child care and protection.

The goal of the project is to give the opportunity to about 100 beneficiaries (mainly national minorities’ representative, employed in the social assistance sector as well as students from colleges and universities who want to become social assistants after graduation) to study the State language at the C1 level (an advanced level of language proficiency focusing on tech vocabulary related to social assistance field) using the already existing and functional platform invat.antem.org.
After graduating the course the beneficiaries will be able to apply flexibly and effectively use their language skills for social and professional purposes. Good command of the State language will give them the opportunity not only to integrate better linguistically and culturally in Moldovan society but also to provide better social services.

The objectives of the project are:
- Identify capacity development needs of existing associations of fresh fruits growers/producers/exporters and their members;
- Strengthen capacities of partner associations and development of trade and productive potential of Moldovan producers/growers and exporters of fresh fruits;
- Promote new technologies for growing fruits, storage and marketing (i.e., along the whole value chain);
- Transfer best practices in fruit growing sector with special reference to tools for effective production methods, a better market access and spread of knowledge and new technologies through networking and direct contacts with fruit producers in EU countries;
-Facilitate active participation of Moldovan fresh fruits producers/exporters in fairs and trade exhibitions abroad.

On the long-term run, this initiative will increase overall image of Republic of Moldova as exporter of high quality products, reduce unemployment, raise incomes and, ultimately, create a more inclusive and sustainable human development.
